WEEK 1 - OCTOBER 1

 RUNNING OUR RACE

Hebrews 12:1-2 – Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

WEEK 2 - OCTOBER 8

 ALTARS & IDOLS

Hebrews 11:1 – Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

WEEK 3 - OCTOBER 16

 WALKING WITH GOD

Hebrews 11:5 – It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying—“he disappeared, because God took him.” For before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God.

WEEK 4 - OCTOBER 22

BRING YOUR REALITY

Hebrews 11:33-40 – By faith these people overthrew kingdoms, ruled with justice, and received what God had promised them. They shut the mouths of lions, quenched the flames of fire, and escaped death by the edge of the sword. Their weakness was turned to strength. They became strong in battle and put whole armies to flight. Women received their loved ones back again from death. But others were tortured, refusing to turn from God in order to be set free. They placed their hope in a better life after the resurrection.

WEEK 5 - OCTOBER 29

THE MIRACLE IS
IN THE HOUSE

1 Kings 4:1-7 – One day the widow of a member of the group of prophets came to Elisha and cried out, “My husband who served you is dead, and you know how he feared the Lord. But now a creditor has come, threatening to take my two sons as slaves.” “What can I do to help you?” Elisha asked. “Tell me, what do you have in the house?” “Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,” she replied.
